Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Remote

Overview

As an SDET at Alpen Labs, you will play a crucial role in our Agile team, enhancing testing strategies and driving a quality-first mindset across the organization. Your expertise in testing tools, automation, and CI/CD pipelines will contribute to delivering high-quality software.

In Short

• Develop and maintain a system test framework.
• Collaborate with test architects, developers, and product teams to define test requirements.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to streamline release cycles.
• Manage and maintain hardware test walls and test environments.
• Conduct backend/API and UI testing, developing and executing test plans.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes environments and document issues.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability concerns.
• Work with Product Owners to execute user tests and validate functionality.
• Engage in code reviews to improve software quality.
• Advocate for software quality across the organization.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with experience in test automation.
• Proven track record as a Testing Engineer or SDET.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
• Exposure to blockchain technology is a plus.
• QA experience is preferred.
