Alpen Labs is a New York-based startup founded in 2022 by four MIT alumni. Our mission is to build universal rails for money by creating a scalable, private and programmable Bitcoin ecosystem. We're achieving this through cutting-edge innovations in zero-knowledge cryptography and offchain solutions, without compromising Bitcoin's fundamental principles.

• Own day-to-day finance operations and compliance.

• Work with external accountants and legal partners.
• Design and implement scalable processes.
• Act as a thought partner to the leadership team.
• Globally fluent in compliance and entity structures.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in finance or operations.
• Strong operational execution skills.
• Experience with finance systems and vendor management.
• Ability to operate independently without oversight.
• Comfortable with hands-on execution.
• Prior experience in a startup environment.
• Knowledgeable about Web3 and crypto.
• Bonus: Crypto-native finance experience.
