Overview

Alpaca is seeking a Reconciliations Specialist to lead the end-to-end process of reconciling the firm’s back office accounts. This role involves preparing, reviewing, and resolving exceptions to ensure accurate financial records.

In Short

• Own daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across various accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile firm books with external records.
• Drive cleanup of historical reconciliation items.
• Partner with engineering for tool improvements.
• Support audit and regulatory requests.
• Maintain reconciliation policies and controls.

Requirements

• 2–5 years in financial operations.
• Deep understanding of reconciliation processes.
• Expert-level skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong SQL background.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a FINRA SIE or obtain within 180 days.
