Overview

As a Clearing Operations Associate at Alpaca, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of options clearing, ensuring accurate processing and reconciliation using OCC's ENCORE platform.

In Short

• Manage the complete post-trade lifecycle for listed options.
• Process daily OCC activity including trades and position reconciliations.
• Monitor real-time position reconciliation.
• Resolve trade breaks and clearing discrepancies.
• Reconcile option positions against OCC records.
• Confirm processing of corporate actions and related events.
• Collaborate for margin requirement funding.
• Automate ACATS and reporting processes.
• Work with operations and compliance to improve processes.
• Stay updated on OCC notices and market events.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience with OCC ENCORE.
• Understanding of the options clearing lifecycle.
• Familiarity with OCC file types.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a regulated environment.
• FINRA SIE or willingness to obtain.
