Overview

The Clearing Operations Associate will process and reconcile domestic and international corporate actions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial operations.

• Primary owner and processor for distributions, reorganizations, and redemptions.
• Review and validate corporate action event details with attention to accuracy.
• Interface with external vendors and custodians to confirm event details.
• Balance and reconcile corporate actions with suspense and wash accounts.
• Research breaks and open items to prevent aging.
• Serve as subject matter expert for corporate actions.
• Respond to corporate action related Zendesk tickets.
• Enhance procedures for new tasks and asset classes.
• Assist in automation of self-clearing processes.
• Stay curious and learn other areas in clearing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Corporate Actions experience.
• Direct DTC Corporate Action Web experience.
• Knowledge of ICE CA data and BNY processing.
• Understanding of U.S. securities back office operations.
• Knowledge of financial industry rules and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Adaptability between Microsoft and Google document solutions.
• Must possess FINRA SIE or obtain within 180 days of employment.
