Overview

The Security Engineer Consultant II partners in designing and building security solutions to protect Allstate against ongoing and potential security threats while balancing the need for speed and flexibility.

In Short

Requirements

• 4-year Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in technology development.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent Java and/or JavaScript coding skills.
• Familiarity with tools like IntelliJ, GitHub, Spring Framework, AngularJS, or ReactJS.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of threat modeling and security testing is a plus.
• Strong technical skills and passion for technology.
• Ability to translate complex user stories into effective code.
