Overview

The Claims Intelligence Data Insights Analyst at Allstate is responsible for leveraging data and analytics to support strategies and solutions within the Claims department, focusing on report creation, data visualization, and stakeholder collaboration.

In Short

  • Collaborate with the Claims department using data analytics.
  • Develop automated, interactive dashboards for data exploration.
  • Gather requirements and perform data validation.
  • Respond to ad-hoc insights requests from stakeholders.
  • Optimize data pipelines and ensure data accuracy.
  • Utilize Power BI and SQL for reporting and visualization.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Support the Claims team with data-driven insights.
  • Participate in UAT testing and rollout of new dashboards.
  • Identify gaps in data and processes for improvement.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years in an analytics role.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in data extraction and interpretation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
  • Advanced working experience with SQL.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
