Overview

As a CAD Design Estimator at Alliance Material Handling, you will design warehouse and material handling solutions for complex projects while ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards.

In Short

• Design warehouse and material handling solutions.
• Develop accurate Bills of Material (BOM) and CAD drawings.
• Review structural calculations and ensure compliance.
• Generate estimates and pricing models to support sales.
• Communicate with customers on design and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotes and specifications.
• Document and manage changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with various teams for successful project execution.
• Prepare final order packages including BOMs and CAD drawings.
• Provide updates on project status and risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in designing and estimating warehouse solutions.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD required).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Preferred: Experience with pallet racking and warehouse layout design.
