Residential Support Representative - Remote

Overview

The Residential Support Representative at Allegion is responsible for providing positive customer experiences through technical support, ensuring customer satisfaction with Schlage products.

In Short

• Provide customer support primarily over the phone and through digital channels.
• Troubleshoot basic technical problems with Schlage products.
• Guide customers through installation and app setup inquiries.
• Communicate case drivers and known issues to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Typing speed of 55 wpm or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Zendesk and call center operations.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
• Capability to identify recurring customer issues.
• Ability to develop professional working relationships.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training.
