Senior Project Manager – Resilience & Sustainability - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Project Manager within AEI’s Resilience and Sustainability groups, your primary responsibilities will include performing increasingly complex Property Resilience Assessments (PRA) of existing commercial properties and provide recommendations for resilient design on new construction, as well as coordinating ESG materiality assessments for commercial real estate.

• Identify risks on properties posed by climate and natural hazards.
• Perform vulnerability assessments of major building systems.
• Conduct site visits and gather property-specific information.
• Provide recommendations for mitigation and adaptation measures.
• Complete technical reviews of Property Resilience Assessments.
• Train and mentor junior Project Managers.
• Deliver outstanding client service.
• Manage multiple projects.
• Conduct research on laws aimed at reducing carbon emissions.
• Participate in conference calls with clients.

Requirements

• 5 to 7+ years of experience in forensic assessments.
• Knowledge of climate and natural hazard data.
• Familiarity with resilience assessments and building codes.
• Experience in construction management or architecture.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Advanced writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects.
• Registered Architect (R.A.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
