Overview

The Manager, Payroll at Alkami is responsible for overseeing payroll operations for a workforce of over 1,000 employees, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing while driving continuous improvement.

  • Provide leadership for payroll operations.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and documentation.
  • Support payroll-related audits and compliance requirements.
  • Drive continuous process improvements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of payroll experience.
  • Experience managing payroll for 1,000+ employees.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations.
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • CPP designation is a plus.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
