Payroll Specialist - Americas - Remote

Overview

The Payroll Specialist will directly report to the Payroll Manager and is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and proper execution of payroll operations, payroll tax support, and other payroll activities as needed.

In Short

• Complete all LATAM payroll cycles for Brazil and Mexico.
• Review and audit computed wages and deductions.
• Process annual tax reports and adjustments.
• Support and educate employees on payroll-related questions.
• Maintain organized payroll records.
• Continuously look for improvements in operational processes.
• Learn US & Canada payroll after four months of service.
• Work with tax vendors to amend payroll tax returns.
• Liaise with outside agencies regarding garnishments.
• Process timely AP requests for payroll payments.

Requirements

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CPP/FPC certification a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll processing and tax experience required.
• Familiarity with legal regulations governing payroll activities.
• Experience using payroll systems such as ADP or Workday.
• Highly proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organization skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Fully fluent in English.
