Overview

The Field Service Bus Technician role is crucial in providing hands-on supervision and support for vehicle repairs, ensuring exceptional customer service in a dynamic work environment.

In Short

  • Provide after sales support to customers with ADL products.
  • Supervise and support warranty repairs and campaign modifications.
  • Coordinate repairs with other engineers and contractors.
  • Identify and report reliability and performance issues.
  • Communicate repair progress to customers.
  • Complete work records and timesheets for warranty repairs.
  • Provide technical training to customer maintenance staff.
  • Diagnose and assist in repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Work as part of a team while following safety policies.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by returning vehicles promptly to service.

Requirements

  • Background in vehicle repair with a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of ADL products and procedures.
  • Certified and licensed mechanic.
  • High level of electrical knowledge and strong fault diagnostic capabilities.
  • Full valid driving license, ideally with a current PCV or commercial license.
  • Good computer literacy for diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Understanding of modern diesel engines and electrical systems.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined with excellent planning skills.
  • Prepared to work overtime and out of hours as required.
