Overview

The Field Service Bus Technician plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient vehicle repairs, working in various environments including customer workshops and on-site at customer premises.

In Short

  • Provide after-sales support for ADL products.
  • Supervise and support warranty repairs and modifications.
  • Coordinate repairs with other engineers and suppliers.
  • Identify and report reliability and maintenance issues.
  • Communicate repair progress to customers.
  • Complete work records for warranty repairs.
  • Provide technical training to customer maintenance staff.
  • Diagnose and assist in repairs of mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by returning vehicles to service promptly.
  • Work as part of a team following safety policies.

Requirements

  • Background in vehicle repair.
  • Detailed knowledge of ADL products and procedures.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with low emission buses.
  • Strong communicative skills.
  • High level of electrical knowledge and fault diagnostic skills.
  • Full valid driving license; PCV or Commercial Driving License preferred.
  • Good computer literacy for diagnostic equipment.
  • Self-motivated and able to communicate effectively.
  • Understanding of modern diesel engines and electrical systems.
  • Must have own tools and be multi-skilled in repairs.
