Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer I at Aledade, you will maintain, improve, and expand our web application and data pipelines, creating secure, maintainable, performant, correct, scalable, and stable solutions to complex challenges in the healthcare industry.

In Short

• Develop and implement scalable and performant solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers.
• Conduct thorough pull request reviews.
• Utilize strategies that minimize risk, focusing on observability and metrics.
• Maintain high test coverage and frequent releases.
• Work with large multi-table data sets using SQL or other database querying languages.
• Act as a trusted technical decision-maker in team settings.
• Familiarity with health-tech systems is a bonus.
• Experience with cloud technologies like AWS or Azure is advantageous.

Requirements

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in full-stack web application development.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL on large data sets.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical decision-making role.
• 2+ years of experience coaching engineers.
• Bonus: Experience with Electronic Health Records and clinical data.
• Proficiency in CSS/HTML/JavaScript and modern frameworks.
• Expertise in at least one server-side technology.
• Familiarity with relational databases and API design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
