Operations Manager - Remote

Overview

The Operations Manager works with the IPA leadership team to manage administrative operations including payer contracts, contract membership, payment distribution, and client services delivery.

In Short

• Initiates and develops respectful relationships with internal departments, payers, and client practices.
• Works with Market Manager and IPA Operations Director to develop strategic initiatives.
• Monitors payer enrollments, reports, and payments.
• Leads payment distribution and tracking.
• Develops and reports on Key Performance Indicators.
• Provides care management program oversight.
• Mentors and manages direct reports.
• Oversees the Membership team for accurate processes.
• Responds to customer queries regarding membership and health plan contracts.
• Coordinates meetings with payers for contract administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration.
• 8+ years of experience in a health plan or similar organization.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and influence customer relationships.
• Strong analytical and consultative thought process.
• Project management skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Highly motivated with superior organization skills.
