Director of Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) - Remote

Overview

Aledade is seeking a Director of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) to lead and scale our enterprise GRC program, ensuring alignment with regulatory, contractual, and audit expectations.

In Short

• Build and mature Aledade’s Governance, Risk & Compliance program.
• Own the enterprise risk management framework and risk registry.
• Lead compliance certification programs including SOC 2, HIPAA, and others.
• Manage audit preparedness for external assessments.
• Oversee the Vanta Trust platform for control monitoring.
• Develop and enforce policies and standards for compliance.
• Collaborate with Security, IT, Product, and Legal teams.
• Accountable for driving compliance certifications.
• Prepare organizations for external audits and regulatory certifications.
• Lead a growing team in governance and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years in Governance, Risk, and Compliance or related fields.
• 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks.
• Experience with GRC platforms such as Vanta.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Preferred: CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP certifications.
