Auto Desk Appraiser Level I - Remote

In Short

• Desk appraisers determine the scope and cost of auto repairs for damages caused by collision or other risks.
• Review shop estimates and/or photos of the damaged vehicle.
• Reach a mutually acceptable repair estimate with the repair facility.
• Review and/or rewrite auto body shop estimates.
• Obtain agreement on scope and cost of repairs.
• Document repair estimates and supplements properly.
• Provide written reports to clients on adjustments made.
• Prepare and submit total loss condition reports.
• Work from home with a full-time schedule.
• Starting salary range of $19 - $20/hour.

Requirements

• At least 6 months experience with CCC/Pathways estimating software or equivalent.
• Experience as a body shop estimator or insurance carrier staff appraiser preferred.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
