Heavy Equipment and Specialty Vehicle Desk Appraiser - Remote

Overview

The Heavy Equipment and Specialty Vehicle Desk Appraiser will determine the scope and cost of auto repairs for damages caused by collision or other risks, reviewing shop estimates and working with repair facilities.

In Short

• Review and rewrite body shop estimates for collision and material damage losses.
• Obtain agreement on scope and cost of repairs with repair facilities.
• Document repair estimates and supplements as required.
• Provide written reports to clients on adjustments made in estimates.
• Prepare and submit total loss condition reports for potential total loss claims.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with AdjustRite estimating software or equivalent.
• Experience as a body shop estimator, independent field appraiser, or insurance carrier staff appraiser.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
