Project Tender Sourcing Manager - Remote

Overview

This role is part of the GE Vernova Gas Power – Asia Projects Sourcing team and is primarily responsible for supporting project tendering activities by providing accurate sourcing inputs, driving supplier strategies, and enhancing bid competitiveness.

In Short

• Lead sourcing inputs during tender development.
• Define the Tender Sourcing Strategy aligned with client requirements.
• Establish and maintain the Tender Supplier List.
• Manage RFQ process and analyze supplier quotations.
• Drive regional supplier development and capability mapping.
• Support project sourcing plan development for procurement execution.
• Coordinate PO issuance and supplier monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of Balance-of-Plant (BOP) equipment.
• Participate in project progress meetings and cost reviews.
• Track and report sourcing KPIs for competitiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing within a technical project environment.
• Experience in tender/bid costing and supplier negotiations.
• Knowledge of low-cost country sourcing dynamics in Asia.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with sound commercial judgment.
• Organized and adaptable under time pressure.
