Cost Analyst - New Unit Projects - Remote

Overview

The Cost Analyst will be responsible for driving cross-functional cost reviews and managing budgets throughout the completion of new unit projects at GE Vernova, contributing to the energy transition.

In Short

• Drive cross-functional cost reviews from budget handover to project completion.
• Develop cost execution plans and track costs.
• Run detailed cost reports and monitor budget variances.
• Work with budget owners to estimate costs and track project schedules.
• Support Bill of Quantity (BOQ) tracking and prepare for PMR reviews.
• Conduct risk and opportunity analysis and suggest mitigation plans.
• Coordinate estimates for change orders and track variances.
• Implement new cost controlling mechanisms and support process improvements.
• Collaborate with multiple functions including engineering and logistics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cost Management or Project Management.
• Experience in the Power/Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, or Construction industries.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
• Willingness to work East Coast time zone hours.
