Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented DevSecOps Engineer to join our Platform Operations team. This role is pivotal in managing daily operational tasks, handling ServiceNow tickets, and administering access and configurations across key DevOps tools including GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nexus. The ideal candidate will also bring solid experience in Linux system administration, supporting hybrid environments and ensuring secure, efficient platform operations.

In Short

  • Manage daily ServiceNow tickets and resolve requests related to platform access and configuration.
  • Administer user access to DevOps tools and enforce role-based access controls.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades of DevOps tools.
  • Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues proactively.
  • Apply DevSecOps principles for security and compliance.
  • Support internal audits and implement necessary remediation actions.
  • Maintain compliance with security standards.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams.
  • Work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must be eligible for U.S. government security clearance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS or other technical field.
  • Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nexus.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
  • Experience with Linux and Windows system administration.
  • Solid knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Certification in DevOps Foundation is a plus.
