DevSecOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

Sherpa 6 is seeking a talented DevSecOps Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of our systems and data.

In Short

• Own the end-to-end release process for software applications across environments.
• Develop and maintain automated build, release, and deployment pipelines.
• Partner with development and QA teams to validate release readiness.
• Create and maintain release documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment issues.
• Monitor and track release metrics.
• Develop IaC using Pulumi or Terraform.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software release engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of source control systems.
• Experience with scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a US citizen.
