Peer Navigator - Remote

Overview

As a Peer Navigator, you will provide empathetic support to callers seeking help for substance use, conducting clinical intakes, and coordinating care to ensure they receive the necessary treatment.

In Short

• Provide empathetic and structured support to callers.
• Conduct clinical intakes using Akido's clinical AI, Scope.
• Coordinate next steps based on intake outcomes.
• Connect callers to appropriate levels of care.
• Troubleshoot barriers to care.
• Conduct follow-ups and maintain engagement.
• Document intakes and follow-ups accurately.
• Collaborate with team members for process improvements.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience in a warmline or SUD program preferred.
• Comfort with structured clinical intake workflows.
• Strong phone presence and ability to build trust.
• Fluency in harm reduction and trauma-informed engagement.
• High reliability and attention to detail.
• Able to manage tight turnaround times.
• Nice to have: Motivational Interviewing/SBIRT training.
• Nice to have: Bilingual in Spanish.
