Overview

Career TEAM is looking to hire a dynamic Career Navigator to work with adults from Ventura County, CA, providing career counseling and intensive case management to obtain training and employment in entry-level healthcare jobs.

In Short

• Provide intensive case management services to registered customers.
• Complete intake and eligibility determination for the workforce program.
• Enter data into Career Edge data systems.
• Assist clients in developing Individual Employment Plans (IEP).
• Counsel clients on job opportunities and training programs.
• Complete Individual Training Account (ITA) vouchers.
• Conduct orientation sessions and workshops.
• Maintain accurate individual case files.
• Meet program benchmarks and participate in staff events.
• Complete all required reports.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• 2+ years of experience in training, counseling, or case management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
• Experience in recruiting or marketing services.
• Knowledge of workforce and government contracts/programs.
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse customers.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A Valid Driver’s License.
