Overview

The Compliance and Permitting Specialist is responsible for researching, applying for, and maintaining all necessary permits and licenses in each city and state where AirGarage operates parking facilities.

• Research and identify required permits and licenses for new parking facilities.
• Prepare and submit applications for permits and licenses.
• Follow up with local government agencies regarding application status.
• Travel to cities to meet with regulatory officials as needed.
• Maintain a database of all permits and licenses.
• Manage permit renewals proactively.
• Monitor changes in regulations impacting permits and licenses.
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations related to parking operations.
• Conduct research into local permitting and tax regulations.
• Maintain meticulous records of permitting and tax-related activities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in compliance or regulatory roles.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience navigating government processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with tax compliance is a plus.
