Managed Services Engineer (Telecom/Network) - Remote

Overview

The Managed Services Engineer will be responsible for successfully managing, creating, designing, implementing and turning up AireSpring’s services that include, but are not limited to: Data & Voice Services, SDWAN/MPLS, and Hosted/Cloud PBX/VoIP.

In Short

• Manage and implement AireSpring’s services.
• Strong background in routing and switching protocols.
• Monitor BGP connections and core network stability.
• Maintain network security and IDS management.
• Configuration of Customer Premise Equipment.
• Troubleshoot IP site outages.
• Develop and manage infrastructure documentation.
• Participate in management meetings for infrastructure projects.
• Self-motivated and able to tackle challenging problems.
• Work with customers and vendors for service delivery.

Requirements

• B.S in Computer Engineering or M.S in Network Engineering.
• 5-7 years of experience in Telecommunications and Networking.
• Excellent management and technical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Adtran or Cisco CPE configuration.
• Experience with VoIP systems and SIP.
• Familiarity with Metro Ethernet Technologies.
• Hardware/Software Troubleshooting skills.
• LAN/WAN Optimization experience.
• Experience with Cisco, Polycom, Grandstream, and Aastra phones.
• Project Management skills.
