Overview

As a key contributor to Airbnb's Orchestration Platform Team, you will revolutionize how we connect with our guests and hosts communities, ensuring personalized and meaningful interactions across various user journeys, both within and beyond the Marketing domain.

In Short

• Design and build distributed systems for personalized notifications.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 9+ years of industry experience with a BS/Masters or 6+ years with a PhD.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Kafka and Amazon SQS.
• Expertise in distributed SQL databases.
• Experience with Temporal Cloud is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Passionate about system efficiency and reliability.
