Overview

As a Database Performance Software Engineer at Agiloft, you will contribute to the development of data-centric, AI-driven Contract Lifecycle Management software solutions, ensuring high performance and scalability of the database systems.

In Short

• Work with cross-functional agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze and optimize database queries and schema design.
• Design caching, sharding, and partitioning strategies for high-volume workloads.
• Partner with backend engineers to design efficient data models.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues.
• Implement load testing and benchmarking strategies.
• Collaborate with DevOps to optimize database deployment on AWS.
• Guide teams in writing performance-conscious SQL queries.
• Stay updated on emerging database technologies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer or data architect.
• Experience with cloud-native applications and multi-database architectures.
• Proven experience tuning database performance.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of SQL databases and query optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Agile product team experience.
