In Short

• Lead the design and execution of Affirm’s marketing and product communications.
• Partner with Product and Content Designers for a unified design ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Growth, and Brand.
• Contribute to the development of Affirm’s Communications Design System.
• Co-design in-app experiences and seasonal campaigns.
• Educate teams on visual strategy and best practices.
• Drive innovation using new design techniques and interactive elements.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in visual design, communications design, or product design roles.
• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality visual design.
• Hands-on experience designing for email, web, and in-product messaging.
• High proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and email design tools.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, motion design, and WCAG principles.
• Ability to articulate design thinking clearly.
• Experience building or contributing to design systems.
• Comfort working in ambiguity and self-directing.
• A strategic mindset with attention to detail.
