Internal Audit Lead, Compliance & Operations - Remote

We are looking for an experienced Internal Audit Lead, Compliance & Operations to contribute to the ongoing development of the Internal Audit (IA) function and to Affirm’s efforts to achieve its business objectives.

In Short

• Collaborate with Vertical Leads and Business Stakeholders on Internal Audit projects.
• Execute audits focused on US and International regulations.
• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls.
• Perform audit work using standard audit methodology.
• Contribute to Affirm’s Internal Audit strategy and roadmap.
• Support audit issue validation and closure procedures.
• Assess new products and processes for compliance risks.
• Develop knowledge of the audit profession and Affirm products.
• Align with federal, state, and international laws and guidelines.
• Maintain a regulatory compliance risk mindset.

Requirements

• 4+ years of internal audit experience.
• Experience in financial services or with Big 4 audit firms preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related fields.
• Ability to summarize and document complex processes.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Experience in integrated audits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• High ethical standards and commitment.
• Motivated self-starter.
