Business Systems Manager - Remote

Our Accounting organization is looking for a Business Systems Manager to join our Financial Systems team! The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem solving skills and great interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally and drive forward various initiatives. We are eager to meet candidates who will deliver impact through robust frameworks and scalable solutions that uplevel the Finance function.

In Short

• Manage projects that improve processes and reporting for the Accounting function.
• Create accounting requirements and work with engineering partners.
• Represent the accounting team in product development conversations.
• Participate in the development of product areas touching finance.
• Perform complex analysis on financial data.
• Champion data accuracy and integrity.
• Lead the development of robust system documentation.
• Work closely with other accounting teams.
• Prioritize system builds or fixes for financial reporting.
• Create complex ad hoc queries and reports.

Requirements

• 5 - 10 years of experience in accounting and business analysis.
• Proven business analysis skills with attention to detail.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate.
• Strong sense of ownership and urgency.
• Strong data analysis skills with large data sets.
• Direct engagement with Engineering teams.
• Good understanding of financial principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Finance or Accounting.
