Overview

Affinity Group is seeking a K-12 Specialist to make their mark in our Indiana market. This position will report to the Market Manager.

In Short

  • Drive sales development within an assigned market.
  • Focus on prospecting, lead generation, and managing the sales pipeline.
  • Influence decision-makers to enhance K-12 nutrition programs.
  • Build strong relationships and confidently close deals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle independently.
  • Deliver exceptional, consultative sales presentations.
  • Operate from a mix of local office and remote settings.
  • Generate inquiries through strategic sales presentations.
  • Apply critical thinking to guide prospects toward informed decisions.
  • Meet or exceed ambitious sales goals.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in foodservice brokerage or distribution sales.
  • Background in K-12 education or foodservice is highly valued.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and proven success in developing partnerships.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Sales Management Systems.
