Overview

AECOM is seeking a creative, highly talented attorney to support its operations in the East Region, focusing on construction law and legal issues related to engineering and construction contracts.

In Short

• Support AECOM’s legal operations in the East Region.
• Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
• Experience in construction law and contract negotiation required.
• Manage litigation and external counsel.
• Provide legal advice on infrastructure projects.
• Review and draft various legal documents.
• Work with management to resolve disputes.
• Prepare and review legal memoranda.

• Travel required approximately 10% of the time.

Requirements

• J.D. Degree from accredited law school + 7 years of relevant experience.
• Member in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
• Demonstrated legal experience in engineering and construction law.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Outgoing and a team player.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
• Ability to present before senior management.
