Specialty Coder Inpatient - Remote

Overview

The Specialty Coder Inpatient position is a full-time remote role responsible for reviewing medical documentation to assign accurate diagnosis codes and ensure coding compliance for high dollar cases.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in inpatient coding.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding systems.
• Proficient with encoder software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Continuing education and certification maintenance required.
• Excellent fine manipulation skills required.
• Ability to analyze complex documentation and clarify queries.
• Knowledge of external auditing programs is a plus.
