Overview

The Academic Program Coordinator is responsible for providing general support and specialization coordination within the program, working closely with various teams to enhance the student experience and ensure effective communication of policies and procedures.

• Develop and maintain communication mechanisms for policies.
• Monitor implementation of policies related to mentoring and doctoral study.
• Initiate proposals for improved policies where lacking.
• Coordinate timely communication of faculty mentor assignments.
• Assist in research related to program initiatives.
• Monitor and coordinate catalog changes for the program.
• Disseminate proactive communications for faculty and students.
• Support Business Accreditation initiatives.
• Gather data to monitor attrition levels.
• Coordinate course lead assignments and maintain faculty data.

Requirements

• PhD is required.
• Experience in online distance-learning environment.
• Experience working with students in an educational environment.
• Proficiency in Windows-based platforms, especially Excel.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Creative and innovative with strategic thinking.
• Ability to travel as needed.
