Manager, Intake - Remote

Overview

The Manager, Intake is responsible for managing the intake process functions within a region, acting as a liaison between departments to improve processes and efficiencies while working closely with referral sources.

In Short

• Oversee intake staff and processes.
• Manage referral processing and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with standards and metrics.
• Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Encourage cross-departmental cooperation.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assume on-call responsibilities as needed.
• Work outside normal business hours when required.

Requirements

• Associated degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Three years of experience in healthcare administrative roles.
• Two years of HME claims experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Independent thinker and decision maker.
• Leadership skills in a multi-site environment.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
