Overview

The Customer Care Specialist I (Seafarers) is responsible for providing administrative support and exceptional customer service to all Acuity team members on medical examination or drug screening programs.

In Short

  • Coordinate employment-related examinations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to team members.
  • Utilize software for scheduling and tracking examinations.
  • Interact with examinees and network providers daily.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Process inbound and outbound communications.
  • Handle routine customer inquiries and escalate as needed.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training.
  • Assist with administrative duties as required.
  • Work in a typical office environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and database software.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate work requirements.
  • 1 year of office experience preferred.
  • Experience with medical terminology preferred.
  • Call center experience preferred.
