Overview

The Armed Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising armed guards and ensuring security compliance in high-risk areas, while upholding the company's mission and values.

In Short

  • Oversee armed guard teams across all shifts
  • Monitor use of force protocols and weapons handling
  • Coordinate detainee transport and external security operations
  • Train staff on tactical response and emergency procedures
  • Patrol facility perimeter and secure entry/exit points
  • Respond to security breaches and emergencies
  • Maintain weapons and tactical gear readiness
  • Implement emergency plans for rapid recovery
  • Enforce safety standards and risk management
  • Ensure compliance with ICE standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3–5 years in armed security or law enforcement
  • 1–2 years in a supervisory role preferred
  • Familiarity with ICE Performance-Based National Detention Standards
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain favorable background investigations
  • Proficient in English and MS Office suite
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and a US citizen or permanent resident
  • Must be able to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Preferred: Law enforcement or military background
