Overview

The Legal Counsel at Achievers provides general legal support across various business legal matters, focusing on commercial legal matters to assist the Revenue team.

In Short

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements and contracts.
• Manage and maintain customer commercial contracts repository.
• Conduct legal research on emerging issues and regulations.
• Negotiate new customer deals and support RFx responses.
• Support customer questionnaire and audit requests.
• Maintain and update legal templates for efficiency.
• Manage the legal helpdesk queue for timely responses.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant legal work experience.
• J.D. or LL.B. degree with strong academic credentials.
• Active membership in a State Bar in the USA or Provincial Bar in Canada.
• Knowledge of privacy law and experience with DPAs.
• Experience with SaaS and subscription agreements preferred.
• Proven track record in managing complex contracts.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Exceptional business judgment and creativity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
