Staff Accountant II - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Accountant II, you’ll impact the lives of everyday people and help them go from surviving to thriving with innovative digital personal finance solutions. Our Staff Accountants have the opportunity to work closely with our business operations and broader finance organization supporting best practices for the company.

In Short

• Perform month-end account closing activities and journal entries
• Prepare monthly accruals and reconciliations
• Support monthly variance analysis of financial statements
• Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations supporting GAAP compliance
• Support external audit in compiling reports and schedules
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies
• Participate as a support role on special projects
• Complete reports as assigned
• Various other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of strong general ledger experience
• Results-oriented and proactive communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Oracle/Oracle Fusion a plus
• Experience in the financial services industry a plus
• Ability to work independently in a remote work environment
• Ability to proactively identify problems and present solutions
