Staff Accountant II - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Accountant II, you’ll impact the lives of everyday people and help them go from surviving to thriving with innovative digital personal finance solutions.

In Short

• Perform month-end account closing activities and journal entries
• Prepare monthly accruals and reconciliations
• Support monthly variance analysis of financial statements
• Maintain and update balance sheet account reconciliations
• Support external audit in compiling reports and conducting research
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies
• Participate in special projects
• Complete reports as assigned
• Various other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of strong general ledger experience
• Results-oriented with strong timeline management
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Oracle/Oracle Fusion is a plus
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Proactive problem-solving skills
