Staff Accountant II - Remote

Overview

The Staff Accountant role will play a critical part in the day-to-day general accounting operations, including month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Additionally, the position will support revenue accounting processes and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including ASC 606.

In Short

• Participate in the monthly financial close process, including preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with revenue recognition procedures, including reviewing contracts and deferral schedules under ASC 606.
• Support preparation of monthly financial reports for various partners.
• Assist in internal and external audits requests.
• Help improve and document accounting processes and controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Finance/Accounting related function.
• Proficient working knowledge of GAAP and operational month-end close processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
