Staff Accountant II - Remote

Overview

As a Staff Accountant II at Achieve, you’ll impact the lives of everyday people and help them go from surviving to thriving with innovative digital personal finance solutions.

In Short

• Perform month-end account closing activities and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly accruals and reconciliations.
• Support monthly variance analysis of financial statements.
• Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations for GAAP compliance.
• Support external audit with reports and schedules.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
• Participate in special projects as needed.
• Complete various reports as assigned.
• Work independently in a remote environment.
• Identify and present solutions for problems within responsibility areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of general ledger experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.
• Experience with Oracle/Oracle Fusion is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
• Loan Accounting experience is a plus.
• Proactive in managing timelines and communication.
