Senior Advisor, Civil & Environmental Engineering - Remote

Overview

The Senior Advisor, Civil & Environmental Engineering will oversee technical staff focused on disaster recovery projects that require strong environmental or engineering expertise, guiding the development and implementation of projects with significant geospatial components.

In Short

• Full Time position with remote work and up to 50% travel required.
• Manage operation functions as a subject matter expert in emergency management.
• Supervise and mentor technical staff on disaster recovery projects.
• Lead project teams ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders in various settings.
• Participate in business development and proposal efforts.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide expertise in geospatial analysis and environmental compliance.
• Conduct training sessions for staff and clients.
• May require fieldwork during disaster response efforts.

Requirements

• Current Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• In-depth knowledge of FEMA programs and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in ESRI software, particularly ArcGIS.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in client engagement and relationship management.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal direction.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Willingness to travel and deploy to client sites as needed.
