Overview

As Director of Performance & Learning, you will own and evolve the design of our performance system experience across Abnormal, shaping the systems that help the organization grow with intention.

  • Own and evolve the learning strategy and philosophy across Abnormal.
  • Build and lead a performance management system tailored by organization.
  • Continuously improve current programs like Becoming Abnormal and Lead Abnormally.
  • Redesign the onboarding program for a remote-first company.
  • Build AI-powered, experiential learning journeys for key talent groups.
  • Design frameworks, toolkits, and systems for learning at scale.
  • Integrate employee development with performance and feedback workflows.
  • Use engagement data to improve offerings.
  • Build cross-functional learning communities.
  • Measure the impact of development programs.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in L&D, Talent Development, or People Programs.
  • Experience designing and scaling AI-enhanced learning systems.
  • Expertise in remote-first onboarding and adult learning science.
  • Experience applying AI tools for learning.
  • Ability to partner with leaders to align development with business goals.
  • Fluency in enabling others to deliver learning consistently.
  • Systems-thinking mindset.
