US Payroll Specialist I - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team. This remote position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of US payroll, while maintaining full compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.

In Short

• Manage and process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Generate and distribute regular payroll reports.
• Serve as the main point of contact for payroll-related inquiries.
• Maintain and update payroll systems.
• Collaborate on special payroll-related projects.
• Assist in the implementation of new payroll technologies.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing required.
• Proficient in payroll software, preferably in ADP workforce or Rippling.
• CPP certification is a plus but not required.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of payroll taxes and employment law.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
