Overview

The U.S. Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) Supervisor manages and executes a wide range of operational activities to maintain compliance with the U.S. Foreign-Trade Zones regulations while providing leadership and strategic direction for the Lake County and Barceloneta Foreign-Trade Zones.

In Short

• Oversee Foreign-Trade Zone compliance activities in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
• Manage resolution of import/export issues affecting supply chain.
• Provide guidance on documentation and customs valuation.
• Participate in projects to enhance Foreign-Trade Zone capabilities.
• Partner with other functions to optimize supply chain routes.
• Capture and analyze trade operations metrics for reporting.
• Execute self-audit programs to ensure compliance with customs law.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in international trade, supply chain, finance, or logistics.
• 5-8 years of experience, with 3+ years in a Foreign-Trade Zone or related field.
• 1-2 years of logistics or inventory management experience.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Access and Excel.
• Knowledge of U.S. Foreign Trade Zones Act and Customs Law.
• Strong communication skills.
