Overview

The U.S. Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) Supervisor manages and executes a wide range of operational activities to maintain compliance with the U.S. Foreign-Trade Zones regulations, providing leadership and strategic direction for the Lake County and Barceloneta Foreign-Trade Zones.

• Manage operational activities for Foreign-Trade Zones in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs Law for all FTZ activities.
• Oversee import/export compliance and resolve supply chain issues.
• Provide guidance on documentation and tariff classification.
• Participate in strategic projects to enhance FTZ capabilities.
• Collaborate with various functions to optimize supply chain routes.
• Analyze trade operations metrics for reporting purposes.
• Execute self-audit programs for compliance assurance.
• Manage compliance assessments by U.S. Customs & Border Protection.
• Lead a team for trade compliance in Lake County.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in international trade, supply chain, finance, or logistics.
• 5-8 years of experience, with 3+ years in a Foreign-Trade Zone or related field.
• 1-2 years of logistics or inventory management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Access and Excel.
• Knowledge of U.S. Foreign Trade Zones Act and Customs Law.
• Strong communication skills.
