Senior Technical Engineer (Drug Discovery Research) - Remote

Overview

The Senior Technical Engineer will provide high-level technical consultation and lead software development efforts for drug discovery research applications.

• Provide comprehensive consultation on application programming and process implementation.
• Perform Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities.
• Coordinate with business teams and IT staff to propose software features.
• Facilitate application design sessions with development staff.
• Create programs for configuration and deployment.
• Monitor technical deliverables for consistency and quality.
• Work in a hybrid model (onsite 3 days, remote 2 days).
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5 years of programming experience in C#, Java, or Python.
• Experience with automation scripts and database integration.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of programming experience with C#, Java, or Python.
• 3 years of experience in building applications that integrate with back-end databases.
• 3 years of experience creating automation scripts.
• 2 years of experience participating in the SDLC process.
• Strong communication skills to interact with business users and vendors.
• Ability to propose software features based on business needs.
• Experience monitoring technical deliverables for quality.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
• Work experience may be gained concurrently.
